He was kind, professional and very detailed about how each step of the process would go! He was able to get us set up for the following week!On the day of the move, everything went very smoothly! Cameron texted me to let me know when we should expect them. They were punctual and communicated with us every step of the way! Cameron,George and Damien were absolutely the best! They were careful with all of the furniture wrapping everything to protect it! Additionally they had to trouble shoot getting our couch through the doorway and did it without any damage to the couch or walls! I was most worried about the bed and they move it with no problems! The guys were personable and I felt like they cared and were happy to be there moving us! They chatted and laughed with us and it made the whole stressful moving experience so much better! Wonderful experience dealing with Roadhaugs Moving company in North Carolina. From the beginning, the outfit coordinated a move from the Syracuse area in New York State using Mini movers, which did an excellent job including fabulous packing and courteous employees. As we slowly transition out of New York State, we are very happy we chose Raoadhaugs for splitting our furniture into two homes that we currently own.. Road Haugs was responsible for unloading once we arrived at our condo in Charlotte. The two service Providers, Joe and Allen, could not have been better. They set everything up in an efficient manner, took care of their boxes were delightful and personable, and just plain nice people to work with. We had no surprises. I strongly recommend this company as it was a much easier move than I anticipated.

Not a good experience. It started out well, but at the end they were rushing, did not finish the job, and several of the men had really bad attitudes. We utilized both their packing and moving services. Gabe and Brian (our packers) were a couple of the most efficient, thorough, kind and communicative people we've worked with! They had our home fully packed and ready for the moving team in about a day. The next day, Alejandro and his team of 3 movers came and had our home fully loaded on a truck by lunch time, and carefully unloaded in our new home by dinner! Road Haugs handled the “white glove” delivery service for furniture I ordered through Article, but my experience was far from white glove.Following delivery, I discovered damage to my exterior entry step that was not reasonably visible during the delivery itself. I reported this the very next day. The damage is a splintered section of the step with material broken off (photo included), which is consistent with impact from moving heavy furniture across that exact entry path.It’s also worth noting that these steps are covered and not heavily exposed to the elements, which makes the explanation of general wear or weather-related deterioration unlikely. This was a localized break, not gradual wear.Road Haugs denied the claim, stating there was “no proof” and attributing it to age or exposure. However, the physical damage and timing tell a different story.In their response here, they rely heavily on the fact that no damage was noted at the time of delivery. What they do not address is that this type of damage is not always immediately visible during a delivery and was reported promptly upon discovery.They also state that I did not report damage to the dresser. That is incorrect. I reported both the dresser damage and the step damage directly to Article (the retailer), who immediately issued a replacement for the dresser and advised that the property damage claim would be handled through Road Haugs. So the issue was reported—it just followed the process I was instructed to use.I attempted to resolve this directly, but the company has taken a firm position of denying responsibility despite the physical evidence and timing. At this point, the issue appears to be less about what happened and more about avoiding responsibility for it.Based on this experience, I would be cautious when using this company if you are concerned about potential property damage and how claims are handled.

If I could give more stars - I would!First - let's talk about how professional everyone was. They were all so kind and the crew that helped with the move was amazing! From Bruce who came out to quote me, the office personnel and Matt and his amazing crew.Second - The move we were originally quoted for was massive and a very quick turn around. Bruce was so nice. He understood exactly what was needed and even understood my crazy when I spoke about the *very* specific way we were going to have to move things out and transport to two separate locations. (large scale commercial equipment, small office items and everything in between)Third - Things changed in a BIG way and literally in a matter of hours. I had to call Bruce and cross my fingers that he could get me a crew. He worked some kind of magic and was able to get me a crew and the truck I needed. He didn't just send one or two guys either. They sent a crew of 5...Fourth - This crew was like magic. Seriously, they worked so well together and were so efficient. Matt and his guys were a godsend! They treated our large scale stuff with such care. Everything was wrapped and packed so the equipment arrived safely.I cannot recommend these guys enough. They made a very stressful time so much easier and took a huge weight off the shoulders of my crew and I.Bruce, Matt and Crew - Keep up the amazing work and thank you for everything you did!

I had one huge piece of furniture (family heirloom) that we needed moved. We had two days to have it moved, and Road Haugs was able to accommodate us. Matt and Eddie, the movers, were awesome. They had to disassemble a sliding glass door to get it out of the pool house and then reassemble the door. They were on time and communication from Shannon was excellent. Despite this being a small move they were responsive and their customer service was excellent. They were extremely careful with my appliances.
